About me

From 2007 until 2013, I was a doctoral student at the Department
of Computer Science at the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg,
working in the research lab for Autonomous Intelligent Systems
headed by Prof. Wolfram Burgard. From 2001 until 2007, I studied
computer science at the University of Freiburg with minor subject
cognitive science, specializing in artificial intelligence and


I am generally interested in robotics, machine learning,
and perception. In particular, Monte Carlo methods,
Bayesian inference, and applications of nonparametric
Bayesian models.
